Kenneth Chisholm is a London freelance writer who writes about popular culture, Canadiana and Canadian history, feminism, film, Internet, comics, animation, politics from a leftist perspective, and the theatre. Catherine Cocchio  re-located from London, Ontario to Windsor, Ontario in 1997. Her articles and

photographs appear regularly in Windsor Business Magazine. An occasional teacher and mother of two university students, she finds education and parenting issues of special interest. Do-it-yourself renovations to a rental property in St.Catharines recently hammered home the joy of completing weekend projects on time and under budget while keeping her up-to-date on the latest trends in home renovations and decorating. Sheila Creighton  is a writer, photographer and communications professional. Her writing has focused primarily on non-fiction arts, heritage and tourism. She is the author of two books At This Stage and The Oakville Book and she has contributed to several others. Sheila has been a columnist for several publications; editor for 21 issues of the provincial publication OHS Bulletin and two issues of Ontario History; and editor/publisher of the book Oakville Street Names & Landmarks. Sheila is an experienced researcher, photographer and photo editor. In a communications role, she has produced a variety of books, guides, newsletters, reports and advertising.

Kevin Glew  is a London-based sportswriter whose articles have been featured in The Hockey News, Baseball Digest, Baseball America, Sports Market Report, and The London Free Press. Ute Lawrence has worked in the magazine publishing industry for 22 years. She is the founder of the Performance Enhancement Centre and the visionary behind the Power of One Discovery series, a program designed to build a new foundation for personal and professional growth. Her life changed dramatically one day while on a business trip to Detroit. Ute and her husband were in the center of the most horrific road accident in Canadian history. This led her  to establish the first civilian Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Association in North America and inspired her to write the book The Power of Trauma - From the Darkness of Despair to a life filled with light, iUniverse (April 2008).

 

Judy Liebner is a journalist and a communication consultant who specializes in writing about all aspects of housing. Her areas of expertise include energy efficiency, insulated concrete form technology, innovations in subdivision design, new homes, condos, renovations and interior decorating, as well as property management and landlord-tenant issues. Brad Moon is a freelance writer, editor and short fiction author. A core contributor to Wired's award winning GeedkDad blog since 2007, Brad has also written feature articles for wired.com. His weekly column on technology and gadgets appears on Sundays in the Winnipeg Free Press. He writes primarily about the music industry, technology and the joys, challenges and humour of parenting. His work has also appeared in The Stratford Beacon Herald, ChartAttack, LocalLoop and In Touch. Brad has taught computer courses through continuing education faculties at The University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College and works frequently with SEO companies. Leith Peterson, MLIS, writes primarily about Canada and Canadian issues, history and heritage, and biography. She has completed contracts with two international publishers. Her four produced stage plays have explored historical and cross-cultural themes. Stuart A. Thompson is currently working as Editor-in-Chief of the Gazette, Canada's only daily campus newspaper at the University of Western Ontario. His interests include online journalism, new media development and social media integration for newspapers and magazines. He is presently an executive member of London's Open House Arts Collective, which organizes local art and culture through events and performances. Richard Young is a long-time London musician and retired high school History teacher (1979-2008). During his teaching career, Richard co-authored and collaborated on several high school History and Social Science textbooks and contributed articles and reviews to a number of professional education journals. Since retiring from teaching, Richard has been a frequent contributor to several local publications and he sits on the Executive Boards of the London Heritage Council and the London Musicians' Association.  At present, he is the Managing Editor of The Beat - Arts in London, London's premier arts publication, www.beatmagazine.ca.  He is open to all projects and all topics, including profiles, feature articles, reviews, previews, press releases and web copy.
